Graph #5 – This graph shows Indian Trail Middle School in Tennessee. Half of their seventh grade used our program for 6 months. The other half used the vocabulary program they had always used. The state guidelines were that students were expected to make a .5% gain in 6 months. When all seventh grade students were tested again in January, the students using the traditional program made the .5 gain. The students using the Foundations of Vocabulary curriculum made a 2.57% gain, 5 times as much!! The entire school is now using our curriculum. The Johnson City school district purchased our program, as did the University of East Tennessee.
